All MYHA activities taking place at the MACC will be on pause for 14-days effective immediately.
This pause will run from Monday 11/16/20 through Sunday 11/29/20.
All regular activities will resume on Monday 11/30/20.
MYHA activities include the following:
- Nats practices (AAA)
- House (Mustangs) practices < ------
- Selects practices
- Initiation Program (IP)
- Any MYHA camps, clinics, or skills sessions
- Any MYHA off-ice team training
The MACC will remain open and participation in skate & shoot, private ice rentals, and private lessons (on and off ice) is permitted during the pause period. A waiver and self-certification form indicating that one is not knowingly Covid-19 positive or experiencing symptoms will be required upon entering the facility.
This pause is the result of several MYHA teams entering quarantine as mandated by the county and a number of other MYHA associated individuals reporting that they have either tested positive for Covid-19, or they believe that they are experiencing Covid-19 related symptoms.
Please note that all who have tested positive, or that believe that they are experiencing Covid-19 related symptoms have indicated that they believe their exposure was from persons and places outside of the MACC. There is no evidence at this time to suggest that a Covid-19 outbreak is taking place at the MACC.
In an effort to prevent any possible spread or an outbreak from occurring at the MACC and throughout the Midstate organization, we are taking this precautionary step for the greater health and safety of our players, coaches, parents and patrons. This decision was not easy as I understand how challenging this season has already been for so many, but it is necessary at this point in time.
Thank you for your understanding as the Covid-19 public health emergency persists within our community and within communities worldwide.
